Installation of all products by through Vantech USA Inc. should only be performed by licensed professionals experienced in the proper operations of the products. It is the responsibility of the installer to determine the suitability of the component for that application. It is both the buyer and installer’s responsibility to know the weight capacity and limitations of the vehicle before installing. Check your local and state law regarding legal height, width, length, and weight restrictions prior to install or purchase.

Warranty

Most Vantech USA, Inc products are warrantied for a period of 5 year against all defects, workmanship, and structural materials, provided that they are installed, assembled, and used in accordance with all manufacturer’s specifications and instructions. Powder coated items are not warrantied against rust. Products must be registered to qualify for warranty claims. Warranty forms should be mailed to:

To obtain a copy of the warranty form, send an email to support@vantech.us.  Non-registered warranty claims are accepted within 30 days from the purchase date (proof of purchase necessary).

Exceptions:

90-day limited warranty: cross bars, mirrors, kayak carrier, bar guards and gaskets.

2-year limited warranty:  ladder stoppers, guides, side support, zinc hardware, ratchet tie down, and hook & loop straps.

Merchandise must be returned in the original box with original packaging or in similar manner to prevent damage.

Shipping

Individual packages are shipped via Fedex, UPS or USPS depending on size and destination.  Bulk orders or items exceeding Fedex, UPS or USPS limits will be shipped via truck freight. HI, AK, PR and international customers should call for a shipping quote. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing time.  Prepaid pick-ups and 3rd party shipping are permitted. Additional costs may apply. Please call us for details. Rush deliveries must be ordered prior to 12:00PM EST. Certain items cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes; please call prior to purchasing.

Claims for Shipping Damages

Product(s) that are damaged during transport must be reported to the shipping 3 carrier within 24 hours after receiving delivery, otherwise customer will be held liable for all damages acquired through shipping. Please inspect all packages thoroughly before signing acceptance of shipment. A written statement of product condition and picture(s) must be submitted to sales@vantech.us to start claim. Failures to do so will result in loss of time and claim. Claim process may take 1-4 weeks depending on shipping carrier.

Return Policy

Unused merchandise may be returned in the original condition & packaging with all labels, hardware, instructions. Used or installed items are not acceptable for return. All returns must be accompanied by a RGA # and a copy of the original receipt. The RGA # must be issued within 30 days from the date of delivery. Products with or without RGA # cannot be returned after 30 days from date of delivery. To obtain a RGA # e-mail support@vantech.us titled “Return item unused” with your invoice number and reason attached. Special order items are not accepted for returns or refunds. Any items returned freight collect will be refused and returned at shipper’s expense. All returns are subjected to a 20% restocking/return fee. Items shipped during promo “free shipping” customer will be subject to a 25% restocking/return fee. Customer pays all shipping and handling charge going to and from destination. Once the item has been examined and the reason of return is verified, a refund will be issued in the original form of payment the purchase was made. See “Returning an Order” below on how to properly return an item.

Canceling an Order

You may cancel an order at any time prior to processing at our center by calling 631-486-9303. Orders cannot be canceled once they are shipped. Please refer to our Returns Policy for returns. Special order item(s) can not be canceled once an order number has been provided.

Pick-ups

Pick-ups are available Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-4:00PM EST and by appointment only. Please allow 2 hours from the time of purchase for processing. A copy of sales receipt must be present at the time of pick-up. Applicable sales tax apply for all retail orders. Dealer accounts welcome; please call us to set up an account prior to ordering.

Returning an Order

Items should be packed securely in the original box and packaging, or in a similar manner to prevent damage. Packages will be inspected thoroughly for damages upon return. Please keep record of the tracking number and ensure the RGA# is noted on the box. If the RGA# is not visible, package will be refused and the customer is liable for all shipping and fees associated.

Q: My rack is making a lot of noise.

A: Most noise comes from wind deflecting off of the windshield of the vehicle on to the rack. Find out which rack they have and see below

H1 – Customer can try moving front crossbar forward or backwards by roughly 3 inches on a full size van or customer can purchase wind foil (use crossbar size to determine size)

H2.1 –  Customer should have received x amount of rubber bar guards see instructions for reference. Send out if they are missing them

J Series – Customer should have received rubber bar guards. Send out if they are missing them

Q: What is the difference between steel and aluminum?

A: Steel: stronger, heavier, low resistance to corrosion (rust)

     Aluminum: lighter, high resistance to corrosion (rust), all aluminum racks have reinforced crossbars and are thicker in gauge than their steel counterparts to hold the same weight capacity.

Q: Which roller do I need for my rack?

A: See catalog

Q: I have a minivan or SUV with with a factory roof rack and I’m interested in your OE clamp on system will this fit my vehicle?

A: Our OE system can clamp on to factory roof rails that have at least a 1/2” of space between the rail and roof. The factory roof rails cannot exceed 1.5” tall or 3” wide.

Q: My OE system rack doesn’t fit my factory roof rails?

A: Your luggage rails may need longer bolts than include with the OE system to clamps onto the raised luggage rails or you may have a flushed luggage rails in which our OE system is not compatible.

Q: I am missing parts

A: Locate customer order. Make sure customer has opened and inspected all included packages. If they have, ask customer to read off missing parts and quantities from instruction manual.

Q: Customers inquiring about racks for an 07-On Sprinter

A: Any customers that need a rack for their 07-On Sprinter must have the factory roof tracks installed if they don’t have them, they can purchase them from us.

Q: I have a Sprinter van 07-On, I need to purchase the roof tracks.

A: Have customer specify if they have a 144” or 170” wheel base van to determine which tracks they need.

Q: I have a full size van with sliding doors

A: Our racks will not work on full size vans with sliding doors. The door slides back to where the mounting brackets get installed.

Q: The roller for my Nissan NV low roof rack does not reach to the back of the truck its too short.

A: You need to purchase the 36” roller plates.

Q: Does your P3000 rack work on a Tacoma?

A: No. Nor will they work on any truck that uses tracks on the inside of the bed rail.

Q: I have installed your Chevy Avalanche rack but I cannot open my cover it is not clearing.

A: Use a few washers under the spacers to raise the overall height of rack so cover will clear.

Q: My topper has a slight curve to it?

A: We can provide rubber wedges that go in between your mounting bases and topper.

Q: I don’t see where I can mount your rack on my Transit Cargo van?

A: The roof on a Transit cargo van has paint covering the threaded mounting holes that can be removed with a blade or sharp tool.

Q: Will your Honda Ridgeline work with my factory cover?

A: Yes up to the 2015 model. Third-party covers will also work as long as the bed rails are not covered by them..

Q: Do your tracks come in any different colors?

A: Only silver

Q: Does your Rambox rack fit my 2016 model?

A: 2016 Rambox tracks must have the original factory tracks without the cover. The rails included when purchased with a cover are a different type of track that will not work with our rack.

Q: Will your Chevy Avalanche rack work with my factory cover?

A: Yes

Q: My box truck is __ wide what size should I get?

A: Purchase a size slightly wider than your box truck. Crossbars can be cut to fit.

Q: How do I know if your rack will fit on my conversion van?

A: All conversion vans need 3/8” of space in the rain gutter to mount our mounting brackets

Q:  Can I use 3rd party accessories with your racks?

A: A285 and A286 crossbars can work with 3rd party accessories from Thule, Yakima, etc.

Q: Does your conduit carrier include the PVC pipe?

A: No it does not.

Q: I saw it somewhere else cheaper

A: Unfortunately we do match prices to ensure our distributors receive business.

Q: I have a headliner in my van. Do I need to remove it to install this rack?

A: No yo do not. You can purchase a plus nut kit. (2014-On Transit Connect/ Mid Size Vehicles)

Q: What are plus nuts?

A: One-piece internally threaded nut when installed expands into an existing hole that allows installation from only one side.

Q: What is you order cutoff time for same day orders?

A: Roller will not work. Door extends to where roller needs to be.
